<p>What are my son's chances of getting accepted at Penn State (University Park), NC State and Virginia Tech?</p>

<p>GPA - 3.71 unweighted 3.82 weighted (his high school only weights AP classes 1.06 and Honors classes 1.03 (he has taken 2 honors classes and 5 AP classes)
SAT - 1820 (Math 640, CR 630, Writing 550)
ACT - 27
EC's - 3 years of Varsity Football, 4 years of Varsity Track & Field, Life guarding job, National Honor Society for 2 years</p>

<p>Penn State he has above average GPA. Slightly below average ACT. NC State he is literally a solid match. VT will be a bit harder to get into. I do think he has a solid chance at all. <p>As an FYI…our son found out on Saturday (12/15) he was accepted at NC State and today (12/19) that he was accepted at Penn State.</p>
