Hey, friend, i have a same problem with you..
I have a low GPA and already applied to Penn state(RD)..
I think you have a better chance than I do because ur family.,,, I think
anyways,, good luck!

can someone please help? lol

you better get your app in ASAP if you want to get in, if you're in state you should be ok, and the legacy should help you too. out of state, I don't know, but the longer you wait to apply the less chance you have of getting in at PSU. I'm not sure about the other schools. For the state schools, it probably depends on whether you're in state or not. good luck!

no matter of ur legacies, you have no change to get it. your gpa's are lowe and u have NOTHING for ur EC's

Sorry, but I don't think you have a chance at the University Park campus, unless your in-state in which case I don't know. I have around a 3.2 gpa, 1320 SAT, and several AP and IB classes. I also have an upward trend in grades, and decents ECs. I applied out-of-state before the Nov. 30 priority admission deadline, and was rejected. Now if you applied to a campus besides University Park, you have a pretty good shot. Apparently a lot of people start out at one of the Penn State sattelite campuses, and transfer to University Park after 2 years. Hope this helps.

yeah, but i would apply next year for the summer session, and would trying out for the tennis team help? and or all of you who say i have no chance, ill se you there on 06 because as long as i get into a satelitte campus and audition or the marching band, they can transfer me to UP right away. BUt i still want to get in academically..thanks
