I took the PLAN (psat version of ACT) last year and was projected a 31, I took the ACT a couple weeks ago and have not received my scores yet but I think i got in the 31-33 range. I got a 2030 on the PSAT with no studying (I’m taking the SAT next month), so I should be able to raise that into the 2100-2200 range.

I have talked to my coaches and they are pretty confident that I can get good enough times this season to run track at Penn, which I will definitely do if it means it will help me get into the school.

Thanks in advance!

Also, I am turning in my NHS application next week.

With track you should get in, without it, it will be very difficult

I am sorry but do you mean 203 at the PSAT ? Cuz 2030 does not make sense

Unless you’re recruited for Penn track, I think it’s a high reach. Your quantatative scores and grades though improving are not up to the minimum level for a Wharton applicant, even URM. Ace those senior grades and get your SAT M score over 700, and you’ll start to be in the ballpark.

Your scores and grades are a bit low for such a selective school. :frowning: Wharton is super, super competitive.

@ AKAKHALEDBEST yes, I meant 203/projected 2030

High reach for Wharton.

Fill out a recruit form for Penn track NOW. Put in any recent scores you can prove. Call the coach and ask if he is looking for your event for 2016 recruits.

You should have already taken the ACT or SAT. For the life of me, I don’t get GCs not recommending the ACT or SAT early in junior year so there is time for a retake end of junior year. It mattered a lot to my son, also he took subject tests in between in junior year. No standardized tests for him senior year, which made his life much easier.

@rhandco‌ I have taken the ACT already I just haven’t gotten my scores yet and am taking the SAT in 3 weeks. I will have plenty of time to retake both of them before the end of the school year if necessary.
