Any shot at Penn, Vanderbilt, Duke, Harvard, Yale, USC, or Stanford? I've already been accepted to my two safety schools and rejected ED from Columbia.

Hey, I would say you’re a solid match for Penn State. But for those other schools…your GPA is slightly low and those are TOP schools, your ECs are good, but nothing particularly stands out. Then again, I have no idea how your essays are going to be, and you never know? Congrats on getting admitted to your safety schools, though! Please chance me back!!!

Penn, Harvard, Yale, Stanford: High Reaches
Vanderbilt, Duke: Low-Mid reaches
USC: Match

Unfortunately for those top schools, and even duke and vanderbilt to an extent, you need a combination of great grades, scores and extracurriculars, and while you are solid in all of these areas you are not great in any of them, and actually slightly below average for all of those schools.

I’d say you have a good chance at Duke if youre applying to the trinity college.
You have solid extracurriculars and a rigorous course load. I’d just work on tge math SAT or ACT if youre willing to take either one. Duke will accept test taken in january and feburary

I think you’re definitely in for duke, Vanderbilt, and USC but because of your GPa the ivies are gonna be reliant on luck. Chance me http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1596424-chances-nyu-ucb-brandeis-bu.html</a></p>

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1596425-chance-me-georgia-tech-duke-please.html</a></p>

Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Duke and Penn will all be quite tough.

Your GPA and SAT’s are on target but they don’t really stand out, which makes it difficult to say that you’re easily admissible into any. It’s very possible for you to get accepted particularly at Duke, but rejection is still the most likely outcome due to the competition.

Vandy and USC look set for me though. Just try to get more schools that have a similar level of selectivity. Best of luck to you!

USC and Vanderbilt are on target.

Your Math subscores are so low that I think they’ll be a deal breaker for HYPS. I would say high reach for all of these including Duke and Penn.

Thanks for the feedback! Are there any other good colleges you think I have a shot at? If so, let me know.
