Chances at Penn/Wharton

<p>I'm originally from Philadelphia and would love to go back to go to school there. I am currently a Junior in high school in the midwest. I want to apply to Wharton. Can I get in? </p>

(only 3 B's, all in honors classes)

High Score on PSAT/NMSQT (so maybe National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist??? I don't think i will be a finalist.)</p>

<p>You have good enough academics, however your ECs aren’t as strong. Business schools really want to see leadership and strong ECs…so Wharton is a reach (as it is for everyone ).</p>

<p>Thank you for your input. Do you think there is any way to boost my ECs?</p>

<p>I think your EC’s are actually pretty good. The only thing missing is some kind of leadership position.</p>

i do have some leadership positions, i just did not include them.
Boy Scouts: Order of the Arrow troop representative, Patrol leader, Assistant Patrol Leader, Troop Quartermaster, Troop Guide, Troop Librarian, Chaplain’s Aide</p>

<p>Youth Group: Senior member, AD Council Representative</p>

<p>Maybe something on the track team or in Venturing Scouts too. Gonna have to wait and see for those.</p>
