Please Help.

Your SAT scores are very good. What did you get in the Writing on the New SAT, is that pulling your score down?

Gradewise, you're good to go. Now find out how to stand apart from the crowd.

what school do you go to?

any other opinions?

how much does a 5 in AP chem/ 5 in AP Stat/ 3 in Lang help my chances?

also what about my chances into the Jerome Fisher program?

it probably doesn't change them at all

why not drummer?

also does anyone know any stats for the jerome fisher program/or know where i could find the stats?

You have a good shot at Engineering, I'd say. Maybe Jerome Fisher, they are more selective. Same deal for Wharton single-degree.

is engineering considered easier to get into than the college?

Well, yes, because you're competing against a smaller group.

Overall Admissions Rate: 20.8% (3749/17982)
Early Decision Adm Rate: 34% (1140/3420)
Regular Decision Adm Rate: 16.7% (2579/15403)

Nursing Overall: 41.8% (123/294)
SEAS Overall: 32.0% (850/2656)
SAS Overall: 21.3% (2455/11474)
Wharton Overall: 13.6% (484/3558)

Im seriously considering applying early to Penn. Is this a good decision?

Thanks

Well, early decision admit rate is significantly higher than RD.

I am personally an RD round candidate.

You're looking very good. I'd say even if you apply RD you have a great shot. Your SATs are okay (SAT IIs are exceptional) and your GPA is very good. Also, I think your ECs are particularly strong as well. I have debate as an EC too and I'm also hoping to get into Penn as well!(Wharton)

I just wanted to thank you guys for your feedback.

As an update, I have been accepted into the Jerome Fisher Program at Penn early!!

Thank You again.

Friend,

I suggest you try a community college. Big dog schools like UPenn will eat your application like a little baby. Do not even attempt applying, but if you have hot girl friends, please encourage them to apply.

what ??????

mssunshine...the OP already got into Penn ED......

haha, that's hilarious. The OP get's into the Jerome Fisher Program and you want 'em to go to a community college!
