White male (senior). My gpa weighted is a 2.6. Have taken 11 honors/AP classes. got a 4 on calc ab exam and want to go for engineering
have a 4.0 unweighted (4.8) with 4 ap classes my senior year. 3.3 gpa weighted junior year. (my sophomore year killed me with a 1 something

1300 M+CR sat score....one-time sitting
1900 total ....one time sitting

I am going to take it again in january btw to try and get a 2100.

What do you think my chances are with the 1900 score? I heard someone on this thread say Penn state cares a lot more about SAT scores, which is good because I have 75th percentile for school average

thanks!

It’s difficult for anyone here to tell you - we’re not on the admissions team. Your upward trend in in your favor. If you are applying for Engineering, what is your Math SAT score?
You would have had a better chance applying to A&S. All you can do is wait and see - and have safety schools waiting.

southeastmom is right. DO you have any other hooks- minority, OOS? What are your math/science classes like in your transcript? Did you traditionally do better in those than the English/History/Humanities courses? Were you doing a lot of ECs that took up time. The GPA being low is an issue- the average GPA for an accepted student last year was around 3.9, you fall way below the mark.
