SCHOOLS I WANT TO APPLY TO (in order)
1.Pomona
2.Princeton
3.Stanford
4.Claremont Mckenna
5.Whitman
6.UO Honors College

My top 4 are all very close together in terms of how much I want to go there. I love Princeton and Pomona, but I like Pomona a little more because it's a bit more realistic and on the West Coast, and I could run for them. Stanford and Claremont are both amazing, but Stanford has a little more prestige and a better location, but i could run XC at Claremont..

Should I apply ED/EA anywhere?

SAT/ACT: Haven't taken yet, but I'm not good at testing... I
got a 4 on the AP US Test, but 660 on SAT II US History. Practice
tests give me around a 2100..

I'll probably take the SAT II Lit, French, Bio.. I'm not a math
person so i don't really want to take Math IIC

apply ED2 to pomona, and with your stats and the running boost, you should have a good shot.

sorry i didn't see that you were a junior........you have a lot of options, but its really going to come down to your SAT. Do well, and doors will open for you

hi i also run xc and i'm applying to pomona and possibly claremont mckenna.

i think that claremont's xc program is more highly ranked than pomona's, but they're pretty much in the same group. i just know i could be top 7 for pomona, but not for claremont. however, when i filled out the questionnaire for both, i didn't even get an email back from pomona, while the coach from claremont called me back within 4 hours. i was very impressed, especially since i'm not that good, and he made that extra effort to contact me (and he had just gotten back from a meet 3 hours away on top of it).

Yeah, Coach Goldhammer e-mailed me too, he's super nice.

Have you talked to the Pomona Coach/ Does anyone know about Pomona's Coach?
