Chances at Pomona???

I recently applied ED1 to Pomona & was wondering if anyone had any ideas of my chances. I would really appreciate feedback, whatever it is.

GPA/Classes:
Overall - 4.34
10-12 - 4.42
Unweighted - 3.9

This year (12th) - 4.83 (sent progress report) & not factored into others.
I have taken almost all the AP & H classes available at my school (1 Freshmna, 2 sophmore, 5 junior, 5 senior) & am currently enrolled in AP Calculus, AP Literature, AP Spanish, AP Photography, Honors Physics and Government/Economics.

SATS:
Unfortunately my SATS are not stellar. Does anyone know how much these weigh against grades, ECs, letters, & essays at Pomona?

I believe I have strong letters of recommendations & letters.

Thanks for the input.

Welcome to CC! A few questions:

How competitive is your HS?

From what part of the country are you?

Are you male or female? URM? (Underrepresented minority)

That information will help folks respond to your query better.

Thanks for the advice.

I am from Marin Country (Northern California) and I attend a very competetive and distinguished public school. Many students from my school have gone on to very prestigous schools each year.
I am a white male (no minority)

If anyone else has any ideas I would appreciate them.

Pomona does accept a large number of students from California (including northern Cal). Your ECs are varied and your slides will demonstrate a long-term dedication to photography. As for your test scores, your verbal and US history SAT scores do fall below the mean, but that doesn't translate into falling out of consideration for admission. (I asked about your HS's reputation because there was a noticeable difference in your GPS and those two scores, but your math is strong.) The folks in admissions look at the whole person to determine whether that individual would contribute to the community. I think you stand a good chance of acceptance in that vein.

Good luck!

Thanks.

Anyone else have any thoughts?
