Pomona is my dream school, I really want to go here. The whole atmosphere and academic curriculum really appeals to me, but the fact that it's considered the number one libreral arts college in the Western United States has me a bit worried. I made a post on the "what are my chances" thread, so if anyone here could tell me chances for pomona I'd really appreciate it.

Given your background, I wouldn't necessarily cross Pomona off your list. Still, you should make sure that you'd be happy at any of your other schools including Davis, should it come to that.

Good luck!

Thanks for your advice, it's just hard to come to terms that I might not be able to go to my dream school. I guess i'd be happy at Davis, but I'd always have some regret I guess.

When you interview, make sure you let your interviewer know that Pomona is your #1 choice and that you plan to attend if accepted. You may also want to examine some other choices for safeties.

thanks little mother, also, should i apply ED 2? I didn't apply ED because i wasn't sure I really wanted to go to pomona but now that i've heard more about it and seen i absolutely want to go there. But i hear that ED is more competetive, so with my stats do you think i should apply ED or RD?

If financial aid plays any role in whether you attend Pomona, then you shouldn't apply ED. If it doesn't matter what kind of finaid you receive, then by all means, apply ED.
