Hey. You're considering Princton so you may as well add Harvard and Yale to the equation. The problem with you is that you're taking the SATI in Nov, and SATII in Dec meaning you can't use any ED or EA programs because your SATII results won't be out by then and most colleges require both to even consider your app.

Harvard, Princton and Yale are all need-blind to Ints. THe others like Cornell, Columbia, Dartmouth etc are not so applying for FinAid will decrease your chances. UChic doesn't of have FinAid for ints. Northwestern is known to be quite stingy!

Admission to the top few colleges seems to very random. You never know what could happen. Your stats seem good, and your EC's are good but they're slightly off compared to the those that got gold medals at the olympiads and stuff but you still look much better than most.

btw- MIT has a budge capped limit for international students so competition there is much much for extreme! As for FinAid schools, I'm sure you can do the research yourself.

Good Luck

I hope you've started working on your essays. A good essay always helps!

OK, thank you fro advice!!!! But could you recommend me any university where I have good chance and that they want to give me a full scholaship (university which have good program for engineering or economy, but don't need to be in top 10)???!!!!!
And once again, THANK YOU!!!!

prettyfish, thank for saying that but I didn't take the SAT so I cant, I will take SAT in NOvember. I wanted to do SAT in October but there were some problems so I cant do in October!! What do you think, do I have a chance on regular???!!!

Dimif, Congrats on all your achievements,
Just script down some nice essays and you will surely get into any of the ivies or top math/sci/eng schools... dont bother to be specific, getting into any one of them is good enough, dont get any off your list either, for you never know what they might like/dislike in you, Best of Luck!

Good essays! and a decent SAT! and you will hopefully at a place you have been dreaming about...unless you get really unlucky!
Take care!

No, itsh not much. Thats normal incom in Serbia. I dont know how you understand what I sat but income of one of my parents per month is 300$ that mean that year income is 3600$ and thats mean total income is 7200$. In Serbia normal monthly payment is 300$ (middle class).

hey dimif you can apply for fee waiver
and if you get into princeton, they'll give you all grants because your income is way under their 'mark' thing (i cant remember where the line crosses). That means you'll get full tuition in a scholarship form which is a heck a lot of money.

And you should apply a fee waiver. (no college application fees).
And sorry to be a pain but don't hold too much hope for HYP.

and I dont think you guys should be saying that 'he's in for sure'. You cant say that to anyone who's applying to HYP.

And you should definetly apply to MIT regular. I'll give more feedback later. i have to go somewhere. hang on!

I know to play many other sports as soccer, handball, voleyball...(sports which play with ball)
[/quote]
That is as in, you know how to play those games..? or you play those games in clubs in school/out of school?
If you play them in school/out of school (in a club) that's great! If you don't play but you know how to play, please don't write that in your application.. It'll make you look a bit weird haha..

Ohk so your SAT scores are fine. maybe a bit weak in the CR and W parts but as long as it crosses their standards, they won't look to much into it. It'd be good if you got 680+ for them both.

Again, you have a good chance for HYP. I'm not saying you're "in for sure" like some have been saying, because HYP is pretty much a lottery. But you got a good chance!

Question: Does Yale have a good engineering programme? I'm not really sure about that one. Sorry I cant remember if you wanted to economics or busness.. ok never mind lol

Last advice.. You should really focus on your essays!!!!!!!! You've won great medals in competitions and everything but you really have to show the committee through paper, that you are an interesting 3 dimensional person, not some boring robot.
This part is crucial. You got great stats, and (good..) ecs with the whole volunteering things and everything going on. You dont want to ruin it by being boring on paper or whatever.

You good really good chances. Hope you get into your dream college! good luck :)
