Hi.. I have applied ED to Princeton, and I am somewhat nervous that I will get rejected right away. I know my chances are not that great to get in ED, but I was hoping to at least get deferred..

I am a female from Panama, so my first language is Spanish. I am in the top 5% of my high school class. They do not offer any AP or IB courses at my school, but they do have some honors and I have taken all of them. My schedule is as hard as it can be. I got a 2000 in my SAT (M:700, W:700, CR:600). I know my CR is low, but an admissions officer with whom I met told me that they would pay more attention to the TOEFL for international students that the CR. I got a 283 in my CompBased TOEFL. I have been in the President's Honor Roll from 9-12.

I can speak French (plus Eng and Span) fluently. I passed the entire DELF I, and spent two months in a French immersion program in Tours, France. I`m currently learning Mandarin and want to major in that field (East Asian Studies).. I´ve been president and founder of a museums association, organizer of the school's community service (300+ hrs), president of the debate team (and participated in Harvard-sponsored intl conferences and won awards 3 times), captain of my soccer team (and best goalkeeper of the league) all of that for 4 yrs.. I'm in a medieval reading club (2yrs) and have visited every continent and over 35 countries.. I have won several poetry and essay contests.

I think my essays are really good and different, I have GREAT recommendations from both teachers and my counselor. I went to visit Princeton twice, which says something considering that I live really far away, and had an informal interview with an important admissions officer.

I would appreciate any feedback I can get..Do you think I have a chance? or is it completely out of my reach? Thanks for reading this, and for your comments in advance..
