Chances at Princeton?

<p>I am considering applying early to Princeton. I attend a well known magnet school in NYC. My GPA is very low, but will it put me into the auto reject pile? I believe that my essays are outstanding, can I get in on them alone? </p>

<p>I will just list some brief stats: </p>

<p>GPA: 88 weighted with 4 APs
SAT: 1450 old (new in October)
SAT II: Math IIC:780, Physics:750</p>

<p>ECs (major ones):
Captain of a sport team(4 years),
On math team, AIME qualifier
Volunteering</p>

<p>I dunno. The fact that it's Stuy may help...but on the other hand, when compared to other students there, your app may be on the low side.</p>

<p>Stuy doesn't weight(it did it for two months but then dropped the idea). If you do go to Stuy, you can see from the college stats that the lowest GPA accepted, for ED, was at least in the 92 region.t</p>
