chances at PSU/ Schreyer Honors College

<p>I live on Long Island, NY and I go to an extremely competitive school, ranked 13th in the nation. I am white and catholic.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.6 UW 4.3 W (upward trend- soph 3.4 junior- 3.8)</p>

<p>ACT: 32
SAT II:
Physics- 760
US History- 760</p>

<p>Taken 4 AP's so far. AP Euro (4) AP Comp AP Physics Ap American.
Senior year: AP Bio, AP Psych, AP Lit, AP Gov't, AP Calc. I will have taken 9 AP's at the end of senior year.</p>

Full time job 40 hours/ week (summer job)

<p>My passion is science research which I find very interesting, I have entered many competitions such as Intel, Siemens Westinghouse, Dupont Challenge, Oracle Thinkquest, Rohm and Haas, LISEF and Toshiba Exploravision.</p>

<p>My essays will be strong as well as my recommendations.</p>

Although ur GPA is barely lacking, ur ECs are incredible, so ur definitely in.</p>

<p>I think you have an excellent shot. 2 of my friends got into the honors college this year. One of them had an 1180 SAT and ranked in like the top 6% i think, the other is ranked in the top 1% and has a 1320 SAT. I would say you'll be okay. Just work on your GPA a little.</p>

<p>I was accepted with slightly higher test scores, the same number of APs and a similar upward trend. I think youll be good.</p>
