I’m a first time poster, so maybe this is not the right place for the post but here I go. I would like to go to University Park for … a major I haven’t decided yet. Maybe computer science or engineering. My SAT scores are Reading - 580, Math - 540, Writing - 500 for a total 1620. My school is a below average school with a 1200 average sat, and very bad keystone scores. I passed all mine freshman year. I am a Senior with a 3.2 gpa out of 5. I have 2 AP classes this year, Physics and government but our school offers very few AP classes to begin with. My parents are Pakistani immigrants and I am a natural born citizen so that makes me a first generation immigrant? Or second? I have around 300-400 hours of community service as I am an Eagle Scout and a brotherhood member in the Order of the Arrow, scouting’s honor society. I suppose my Eagle Scout project will look good as it was for the Appalachian trail’s museum. The only museum in America dedicated to hiking and a a project that anyone who walks the entire appalachian trail will see. Sorry for my terrible forum etiquette, this is my first post and wasn’t sure on how to approach it. I appreciate any answers greatly, and happy NOAC for you scouters :).
