Quinnipiac is getting harder to get into. If your serious about Quinnipiac you better get your application in early. Quinnipiac has rolling admissions. If you apply by Thanksgiving, you should hear before christmas if your in.. Thats what happened for my son. If your applying for health science, it is very selective. Communications, liberal arts ect. a little less competitive. Good Luck.

As I noted in another thread of yours, each of your SATs are 100 points below the middle 50% of Quinnipiac's scores, thus indicating that as far as SATs go, you are toward the bottom of the pool. This information is available from collegeboard.com. Maybe you can use it to check other schools as well.

Sara, my son was in the top 20 percent of his class of over 500 students. His sats were around 1100, old sat. You need to get your sats up. Also Quinnipiac may favor boys, because less boys apply there. The girls out way the boys there.

Sara, The only way to know if your in at QU is to apply early, write a great essay, get a great recommendation from a teacher and wait to hear from admissions. It would not be fair to you to say yes your in when admissions may say no. I wish you the best and dont worry so much. Everything will work out like it suppose too. Good luck.

My daughter is a freshman at Q....I agree that it is getting harder to get in and that the key is to apply early...and letters of recommendation and also you can have your guidance counselor call and give a recommendation it couldnt hurt....good luck....

The middle 50% of SAT means that half scored above those scores, and half scored below. SATs aren't everything, if you have good extra curriculars and GPA and a good essay, you could have a chance. If you applied early enough - when I interviewed my admissions officer told me that last year they had to wait-list three class valedictorians because of rolling admission, and they waited too long.
