<p>I already got into Indiana, Arizona and Oregon and I was just wondering what everyone thinks about my chances at the remainder at the schools I'm applying to. I live in CA, and moved there from Maryland after sophomore year of HS. I'm majoring in either business administration, marketing, or journalism/communications!</p>
<p>GPA: 3.23 UW, 3.98 W
my new school doesn't weight out of district GPA so I'm sending two transcripts.. Weighted gpa is if I weighted all the classes I took at my old school also.
SAT: 1810; CR: 590 M: 650 W: 570
ACT: Will take on Saturday
APs: European History - 5, American Gov - 4, Environmental Science - 4, Calculus AB - 3, Statistics - this year
SAT II: US History - 650, Math II, 660
Extremely tough schedule (as you can tell by the difference in my GPAs!)</p>
<p>Extracurriculars/Honors:
- Project Change Anti-Bulliyng/You Have the Power! (President 12th) - Grades: 9, 10, 12
Students travel to local elementary and middle schools and mentor younger students about dangers of bullying. Brought club to CA when I moved
- The Greater Contribution (VP 12th) - Grades: 11, 12
Students raise money for microloans for aspiring entrepreneurs in third world nations
- Student Newspaper (Sports Editor 12th) - Grades: 10,11,12
- Travel Baseball (Captain 9th) - Grades: 9
- Varsity Tennis - Grades: 10
- AP Scholar with Honors</p>
<p>Work:
- Baseball Umpire during fall of 9th grade
- Marketing employee starting summer before 12th grade at promotions company, still work there
- Intern at Democratic Central Committee during summer before 10th grade</p>
<p>Essays are really good, I think they might be a big factor in determining whether or not I get in!
