Chances at:
Rice (first choice)
MIT
UT(austin)
Univeristy of Houston

Also... any other colleges you think that I might be able to get into?? THank you very much.

Also, please post any other recommendations that you have.

You look pretty good at Rice, but not a lock. I would retake the SAT in Oct and try to raise CR. Rice combines scores, so you won't go down. You also need another SAT II. You should be guaranteed Austin, so take Houston off the list and replace with Vandy, OU, UChicago. You are most likely not going to MIT.

If I get lets say a 34 ACT. then do they only look at the ACT score and not my SAT I score? Because I think I can easily do better on the ACT.

bump......

Am I a good match for Rice or should I just think about going to UT?

I would definitely apply to Rice if you want to go there. I think you have a shot, but as I said, I think you can improve that chance with some work. I believe they will take the ACT in place of the SAT, but I think you still need 3 SAT IIs. Check with admissions. We found them to be very nice people.

u only need two for rice...what school do u go to pmahesh107?

North Garland High School..... its a magnet but its public
