I think these may be my shortcoming because other than soccer I do not have anything really outstanding and I haven't volunteered a great deal. </p>
<p>I have been playing club soccer competitively for 10 years now, have done well in many tournaments and during league play, and this takes up approximately 8-12 hours a week during the fall and spring.
I also played high school soccer during freshmen and sophmore year at the JV level.

I went to UC San Diego this summer to participate in the Academic Connections program and took a class on neurons.
Sixth place in Regional Editorial Writing Contest
I helped rebuild a house this spring and I will be doing Habitat for Humanity in the fall
First place in school catapult building contest. I also spent approximately 25 hours developing a potato cannon with a friend, which was an interesting experience. </p>
<p>Recommendations should be very good and essays will be either good or very good. </p>
