Your stats put you in range. Be sure to write some great essays and really elaborate on your personality. An interview really helps imo. Good luck!

As jztimmons says, your stats put you in range to get in. Focus on the rest of your essays as well as maintaining your GPA.

Are you in state or OOS?

Good Luck!

Thanks guys. I did have an interview. And I am out of state

That should help you a little. Good Luck!

Can I arrange for an interview in the summer? What do I need to know to ace the interview? Do I need to prepare for a resume?

I believe so. Email admissions to check

Nothing

No

The interview is informal and a way for Rice to see what kind of person you are. They want you to tell them about YOU and what makes YOU tick; Give a life to your faceless application. The time is also for you to ask questions about Rice and “interview” them to see if you want to go there. It is a two way interaction. Be yourself and relax.

This may sound silly, but for an on campus interview, will the admission officers ask you questions, like normal interviews? If they know nothing about you, how would they ask?

what do you define as a normal interview? They are going to find out about you… not ask you company job questions

Also, on campus interviews are usually conducted by seniors. Off campus interviews by Alums. Both are fairly informal.

bump. please help me

what more are you expecting to hear? Nothing we say here will change your chances at admission. Your stats are clearly in the range of accepted people and thus you should definitely apply.

Just relax and work on making your essays etc. as good as possible
