Chances at RIT?

Hello, most of these posts on the chances forums appear to be to top Ivy schools and the UCs, so I apologize if I’m in the wrong place, I’m a new member to CC. I was simply wondering about my chances at getting into Rochester Institute of Technology. My stats aren’t perfect, but I thought I’d give this a go.

UW GPA: 3.5 W: 3.7
I never took the SAT (should I?) but I got a 31 on the ACT. (Should I improve that?)
This year I took AP French (4) and AP 2D Art (5). I’m planning on AP Bio for senior year.
EC:
-Interact (community service club) for 3 years
-Drama for 4 years
-French Honors Society for 2 years
-Yearbook for only 1 year
-I was involved in 2 mission trips with my church
-I worked at a tutoring center for young children for almost a year.
-I don’t know if this even matters at all, but just in case I have a dual citizenship in both the USA and Chile, I speak fluent Spanish and spent 4+ years all together in Chile. Again, I don’t know if that even matters but I thought I would throw that in.
-I would also be a first gen. college student.

I’m a girl, I don’t know if that gives me any advantage during admissions but I do know RIT has an off male to female ratio, would that help my case? I’m also interested in applying to RIT’s Game Development major. I imagine that’s a competitive program but again, would me being a female help my case?

Thank you for taking time to read this, and any constructive criticism on my ECs or scores overall would be great. Thanks!

The middle 50% of ACT scores for the School of Interactive Games and Media is 29-33, so you’re right in the range there.
With decent GPA, extra curriculars, and essay I’d say you have a decent chance. Game development is one of the most competitive majors though so I’d be sure to get your application in early (and consider ED if RIT is your first choice).
