Chances at Rodman?

I was wondering if anybody who is now in the Rodman program, or who knows a lot about it or anything could tell me what chances I have for being accepted to the Rodman program
(I was accepted ED to the E-School, will the fact that I applied ED and showed my very strong interest/LOVE for UVA help me?)

Work
Employee at Local Hardware Store (10)
Assistant Truck Mechanic (summer before 11, 12)

Essays:
1)the one for the e-school specifically was pretty good about how i discovered science during my work with a mechanic and whatnot, pretty good
2)i did the favorite word one, my english teacher ADORED this one
3)talked about how my dad influenced me, very proud of and i think it's very good

Recomendations: 1. Great from English teacher 10th and 11th grade
2. Guidance counselor-didn't read, but assume it's good, she loved me and my family
3. I got a letter from my state assemblyman who's a UVA grad who's campaign I volunteered for, very glowing letter.

Other factors:
hmm, well my dad and brother are both UVA grads, i guess that's my other "x-factor"

So like I said, I'm already in ED and ecstatic! My brother started talking about Rodman and said I might get it, but of course he's biased, he's my brother. So I was wondering if anybody who is in it or knows someone in it or just knows about it could tell me if I have a shot at getting it or if I shouldn't hold my breath.

Thanks alot!
oh and in addition to the stats, i also got picked as a semifinalist for Georgia Tech's Presidential Scholarship program, meaning I was in their top 10% of applicants, for w/e thats worth in comparison to Rodman (I realize itd be much harder to get Rodman)

Again, thanks a lot!

UVA '11!

this is the second time i've asked this, why does no one answer?

because predicting a rodman/echols scholarship is harder than predicting OOS chances...borderline impossible
while you have a very strong application, there could be better...i dont think you have no chance, but its not 100%..heck, not even 50% guarenteed

fair enough, thanks for the response
