I would appreciate hearing from all who have been accepted/rejected from Rutgers pharmacy (6-yr pharmD) with sat/gpa and other info.

Here is my child's stats.. If folks familiar with can also provide me any indication on what are the chances. We applied last week (Nov. 5, 2006)

SAT : 690v/680m/780w = 2150
GPA: 3.565/4.0
scholl does not rank.

most science courses are honors/AP (except for chem) level w/ A or B

Also, when could I expect to hear one way or the other from school?

I got into the pharmD program last year with similar stats, but my gpa was 4.0. However, If I were you, I would not worry about it because your child is in state and I was out of state. The program is very competitive for out of state students. With stats like your child's, it is just a matter of time before you receive the acceptance letter. Best of Luck!!!

thanks a lot for the info.
Hoping to hear from Rutgers sooner..
One thing I learned though from talking to few friends..
Rutgers (specially for pharmD) puts more emphasis on GPA than SAT.
Hope somewhat lower GPA does not hurt kid..

Thanks janieiee...
could u tell me when did u apply? (how long did RU take to respond?)
Also, if u don't mind sharing stats? GPA (on 4.0 scale) and SAT breakup cr/m/wr? Can't hold anxiety...
thanks
