chances at rutgers-new brunswick

bump

Do I have a shot?

To: oa517

I KNOW you have a very good chance at ALL of those schools. (Not just talk).

BTW, I am a parent who can post from work, and, whose S is applying to most of the schools you mentioned. Good luck to you!

do i have a shot at any of the four rutgers schools?. same stats as mentioned (1210, 89.3).. but im from new york not new jersey

Thanks, toblin.

BTW, my mom just called up Montclair admissions and they said I have a very good chance of getting in. So, if there's anyone out there with stats close to mine.... it's looking pretty good.

i just hope it'll be ok for me as an out-of-stater

Are you considering SUNY schools as well? Since you're in-state, you'd have an admissions advantage, they're of comparable quality, they're probably a bit cheaper for in-state.

yeah I was pretty stupid for not trying but its too late now .. lol

Any opinions regarding campus life or dorms versus available private apartments for rent for student going to Monclair/Rowan/ or Rutgers?

I live about 10 minutes away from Rowan! It is mostly a commuter school but recently they are building all these brand new apartments across the street which look really nice which are Rowan-owned. Also there are a lot of apartment complexes near by which caterer to students which a lot of ppl live in. For freshman I'm not sure how the dorms are- I'm planning to go for a tour once their students are back i'll let you know what they look like.
