I am applying to Rutgers University in 2 months for their early action and I'm really scared about my chances in getting accepted. I am applying as an "in-state" resident. This is what I will have by the time I apply and I want to know if I have good chances in making it in.

GPA: 3.4
SAT: 1520/2400 (only problem is I'm retaking it once more days before applying and won't know my newest scores until after I apply)
ACT: to be determined

Extra curricular activities: varsity soccer (2 years), Emmaus retreat, art club (one year)

These are my honors/ap classes I took/am taking throughout my high school experience.
Freshman year:
English High Honors
Global High Honors
Spanish 1 Honors
Algebra 1 H

Sophomore year:
English Honors
Geometry Honors
Spanish 2 Honors

Junior year:
Spanish 3 Honors
English Honors
Algebra II/Trig Honors

Senior Year:
AP/College Spanish
College Pre Calc
College Intro to the Bible (I go to a Catholic school)

Overall, I maintained an average between 87-92 throughout each year. Do my chances look good?

Why are you applying only days after you take the test? The deadline for Rutgers early action is November 1, and you get your test scores before that

I did not know at the time that the early action deadline was November 1st, and I am taking the test October 26th. I am trying to change the date but if I don’t the scores won’t be sent to me until about a week after I apply.

Jibler: I think you have mistaken my wording… Yes, my ACT scores will be ready by the time I apply, but I am retaking the SAT one more time to try and get a higher grade on October 26th, but I probably will not receive my scores until after the deadline. My ACT will be graded by then.

But overall, with what I currently have, do you think I have a good chance at being admitted into Rutgers? It’s been driving me crazy for weeks and it’ll continue to drive me crazy until after my application, lol.
