<p>Do I have a chance at SCU? Appreciate any response. Will be retaking SAT in November. I go to a lower end school. Its not awful, but far below average in our area. (SF Bay Area)</p>

<p>SATs:
Math 620
Verbal 530</p>

<p>SAT 2:
Writing 590
Chem 620
Math 2c 640</p>

<p>GPA:
4.1 weighted
3.9 unweighted
with a tough but not painful workload (math and science honors, Calc AP)</p>

<p>ECs:
40 hours of work/week during summer as lifeguard for city(2yrs)
10 hours of work/week retail (senior year)
80 hours total of community service at hospital
100 hours total of volunteer work with city in aquatics
3 hours of work/week as AVID tutor for school</p>

<p>Their stats are going up every year. The bar is also higher for a kid from Cali because they are trying to become a more national school. It's a reach. Show a lot of interest and put in an exceelent application.</p>
