Chances at SCS

Please give me my chances. I'm a senior at the top math and science school in Delaware, and want to apply to the school of computer science. I had a low GPA my freshman year of 2.7, but Sophmore year 3.53, and Junior year 3.9. This year so far it's around 4.2. My school does not rank does not rank because of the competitiveness. I have a strong essay, and a rec from my comp. sci. teacher(A CMU graduate).

Cumulative GPA through junior year(3.4)
SAT
Math: 710 Verbal: 600
SAT II's: I will be taking Math IIc, Chemistry, and Writing.(I took practice tests and should be over 700 on all of them.
I have pretty good ec's with some leadership positions(For full stats check my post on the main chances forum.)

NO----but you can get into CIT and then transfer in your sophomore year when you prove yourself! Sorry but that program is tough and my S with a perfect 800 in math on the SAt's couldnt get in..but got into PENN instead.....go figure.

Sgiovinc1 is right. That is one of the top programs in the country and probably the most selective, though I have heard through the grape vine that apps have been down lately. CMU permits you to apply to multiple schools within the university so you can give it a try and also apply to CIT, HS&S (stats or they have an Information systems major that is also a tough one), MCS or Teppan, and take the beginning computer science courses. If you do well, you can then transfer into the program. There will be plenty transferring out into the other schools at that time!
