chances at several places.....

<p>oh hey, i'm new. I want to get your opinions on my chances on being accepted to BC for the 2007 year.</p>

<p>white middleclass female junior at a public high school in upstate New York.
SAT I: math:660, CR: 680, writing:600 < retaking
ACT: 33 *sending this score only probably
SAT II's: chem 670, US history 590 (< uh-oh.. i plan on taking Math1 & literature in the fall)
AP US history: 4
GPA: 3.7 unweighted. (somewhere between 93 & 94%)
rank: unknown... top 10% i believe</p>

<p>as of junior year
honors courses: 8 ish?
AP courses: 1 (there was only one offered)</p>

<p>other things: i plan to be a part of the crew team in college, i have traveled to a lot of places, plan to major in environmental sciences</p>

<p>I rank you as match to slight reach at Boston College and match at everyplace else. Personally, I'd choose Connecticut over Drexel, but it really depends on whether you can handle a rural location over a metro location.</p>

<p>Make sure you send only the ACT score to Boston College (it's the equivalent of 740/740/740 on the SAT I). </p>

<p>Emphasize your volunteer service and need to help out others in your application to Boston College--along with the environmental work you plan to pursue as your career--this will help your application. Good luck.</p>
