Chances at small LACs (and Brown)

Hi! I would really appreciate it if you could chance me for the following schools:
Whitman,
Wesleyan,
Carleton,
Brown, and
Barnard.

Also, if you applied to or know anyone who applied to any of these schools, I'd love to hear whether or not you got in and if you have any advice I would also love to hear that! Furthermore, I'm at a loss as far as safeties go, so if you know of any (preferably small, liberal arts schools somewhere in the Northwest), I'd love to hear those as well. Thanks!

-Background: white female from Washington state

-Honors/Awards:

-Artwork printed in school district calendar
-(likely) AP scholar

Thanks!

What about volunteering and stuff? Do you have any pain? But based on your scores and everything I would say Whitman is safe. Or a a low match. I know some people who applied to Whitman (in in Washington as well) and they were all apmccepted and most chose to go there.

Thanks! As far as volunteering goes, I really don’t have anything besides hours done through the ecs listed above (Girl Scouts, Honor Society). I know that that is a weak part of my application, but I don’t know quite how much it hurts the rest of my application.

If you’re willing to go to Barnard, consider some more all-women’s colleges (Wellesley, Smith, Scripps) that could be pretty safe bets and may offer substantial money.

Your application may be a bit generic for Brown, and lack cs. Make sure you really play up the GS aspect, as that includes a lot of service.

Also do you have any passions you could demonstrate when you apply? Having a clear passion really helps at top schools. Also just curious, what city in Washington are you on?
