Extracirriculars are good - great. Solid amount with four leadership positions (Secretary and President in oneclub, Section leader in another, Officer in another). I will be in all of them for four years except for one I will have only done for two years. I'd say all my clubs and activities are unique to some degree. I haven't seen many CC kids with any of them.

I have pretty much no community service, but I plan to volunteer this summer. Think it will be necessary?

Essays: Can't say. It's a long way from now.

Recommendation Letters: I can't say for sure, but I'm guessing they will be good. I'm my teacher's number top chemistry student out of like 120...and I hear she has a lot of words of wisdom. My guidance counseler will be good...I've gotten to known her this year. Maybe one from my Spanish teacher?

Summer: I'm thinking of going to Cornell...or Columbia...or Harvard...or UPenn...or UChic...okay, maybe Cornell's six week program but this all depends on whether or not I receive financial aid.

Considering:

Cornell (ED)
New York
Columbia
John Hopkins
University of Pennsylvania
Rutgers
Wash U

Thanks
