Chances at st john's university (queens)

<p>Stats: </p>

<p>GPA: 3.0 or 3.1 not sure buts its an 85 average out of 100
SAT: im a junior haven't taken it but im doing kaplan sat prep at fordham university
Courses: i'm in an honors program so Ive been taken honors for all my high school career,</p>

<p>Math: Algebra honors, geometry honors, trigonometry honors </p>

<p>English: English honors since 9th grade</p>

<p>History: first semester global (honors) then to AP global, AP us history.... planning to take ap european history and economics next year.</p>

<p>science: bio honors, chemistry honors and now physics honors</p>

<p>Electives: Writing, literary criticism, piano and history research</p>

<p>Ive played two years in my school's baseball team </p>

<p>I'm an Dominican american (latino) from New york city and catholic </p>

<p>I want to major in history so tell me what you think thanks :)</p>

<p>Your extracurriculars are… lacking. Actually, if you disregard a sport, you don’t have any. Since it’s a private school, that will probably hurt you.
Your GPA seems on target for St. Johns, and if you get an SAT score above 1700-1800, you have a very good shot.

<p>oh im srry i for got… yes ive done some community services… i was in key club at my school, breast cancer walk , the national honors society, also i’m at reach scholar awards program at cuny baruch college and STEP program at Fordham University</p>

<p>If you could do relatively well on the SAT and raise your GPA to the average–87–you’re probably in, if not a match.</p>

<p>Just take the SAT, don’t get below a 1600, and you should be fine. St John’s isn’t really that difficult of a school to get accepted into.</p>
