<p>Research Experience
• Chemistry: Gas Phase Kinetics at University of North Texas (1 credit hr)
• Phyciatry: Neurogenesis at UT Southwestern Medical Center (8 credit hrs)</p>

<p>Volunteer - various community service adds up to over 150 hrs
o Help to construct homes and gardens for needy
o Tutoring elementary students in math
o Hosting and preparing spelling bees for children</p>

<p>I'd say theyre pretty good. Are you chinese? b/c if you're not that would look really good. I've never seen anyone who took SAT II: Chinese. On the other hand, if you are chinese that wouldn't look good. I don't like when native speakers take their own language test b/c it makes the curve harder for the rest of us. lol i needed to rant.</p>

<p>the AVERAGE for the chinese SAT II is like...758 or something, when i looked on my score report last year...that's so crazy, an 800 puts you in like 75th percentile</p>

<p>well, you have to consider who is taking the chinese SAT II...smart asian kids lol. chinese is a hard language and rarely taken in high school, so the people inclined to take the test would be native speakers.</p>

<p>Actually, 800 is only 56%-tile. 760 is 31%-tile. Chinese is by far the most skewed SAT II test in terms of score. The only one that's somewhat close is Korean, which has 800 at 71%-tile.</p>

<p>I think it looks excellent so far for rice, and a respectable chance for Stanford.</p>

<p>A 99 on the AMC 12 is not really worth reporting. If you have a paper that you did with your research, that would be a good thing to send.</p>

since im under the impression that you're trying to say that you're getting straight As this year.</p>

<p>not to be harsh, but, your honors dont seem....very honorary</p>

<p>im takin courses at college: a 90 and above is a 4.0, and thats the max u can get</p>

<p>but at your regular high school you got higher than a 4.0 with Bs? I understand how that's possible, just checking. You might want to list your unweighted from school (atleast to us) so we are comparing apples to apples (<--- haha never thought I'd say that).</p>
