you basically have done everything that you can to get into one of these two fine schools. im sure youve heard this already but no one can make any promises when it comes to stanford and yale but you do have reason to be confident best of luck yes http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/739793-quick-brown-2014-chances-need-advice-over-whether-bother-ed-not.html

WOW, 800 on critical reading? how did you do that smartie pants? any tips?
ah, im so jealous, i would kill to get your stats
um, i think you have a great shot at both schools, but you know, they are very unpredictable, so, no one really knows for sure how it’s gonna be.
but, if you dont get in, then it’s their loss, im sure plenty of other GREAT schools would love to have you!

Bump it up = D.

Btw…kexin ya my 800 on CR was a freak accident = D.

Great app; you have good chances everywhere. I don’t think your application looks stronger for either of those schools than the other, so apply wherever you want.

u’ll prob get into both with those amazing stats and ec’s of yours
can u plz chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/739962-plz-chance-overachiever-rice-u-maryland-duke-caltech-5-ucs.html#post1062841319

You have amazing stats and ECs, therefore being the “typical” applicant at top-tier schools. To distinguish yourself, you should work hard on your essays. You have just a good shot as a lot of other applicants, so only your stats and ECs will not get you in. Essays will be a major factor. I would say Stanford and Yale are reaches, because in reality, they are reaches for everyone. No applicant can ever have a “definite” shot at schools like these due to the crazy competition. However, you do have a good shot.

Good luck, and please chance me?

bump it up

Yes…submit your work to scholarships! I think that you have a good shot if you have good essays. Chance me back!
