SCHOOLS I WANT TO APPLY TO:

Stanford (EA) .. and my Uncle, Cousins went there? sorta-legacy, and Stanford is my first choice by FAR
Claremont McKenna
Dartmouth
Whitman (safety)
UO Honors College
Pomona
Princeton??

Questions: What is my chance of admittance based on my statistics?
What can I do to improve (especially on Academic Awards/Programs)?
Advice?

Oh! I forgot SAT/ACT Scores..

SAT: 2310
ACT:33
SAT2: US History 780, Biology 790, MathII 780

your scores are almost all perfect i dont see how you good not get in with your numbers and EC'S

Stanford is a picky school. I know many people with your scores and activities that did not get in. You have to find something that is going to make you seem different from everyone else who applies. But by looking at your scores you have a very goos chance.

i kind of thought that a non-profit organization that i founded would differentiate me form the crowd.. but maybe not, what would you have in mind that would give me a truly unique application? besides essay's perhaps...

what lo1603 said kinda confuses me.
my stats look alot like yours. in fact, they look exactly like yours.
high gpa, rigorous schedule, good sat scores, a number of important ecs, a leadership position or two, not to mention i started a service project and travelled abroad.

how do you make yourself different?? im honestly passionate about what i do. i'm gonna guess that most of the applicants are too. im a talented writer, and i'd hedge my bets to say that most of the other applicants are also. what am i supposed to do to show them that i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go to stanford?

I think you look very good. But Stanford is really fickle, so I wouldn't hedge my bets or anything. The one thing you can do is write very genuine and quirky essays; Stanford seems to focus on and really like those. (some stuff, like working at your dad's business, doesn't look that great because your dad obviously hooked you up there....but how far have you gone with your non-profit?)

i don't think fickle is the word.

i think you have a very nice looking resume and a good shot. just make sure that you highlight the MAIN points in your application instead of trying to fill it with nonsense. good luck!

Stanford is picky, but a resume like that is gold.

I wouldn't worry too much. Don't bomb the essays or get arrested and you'll do fine. I don't say that to most applicants.
