Again, I plan on applying early action to Stanford University.
My other choices for universities are (no specific order):
Columbia University
MIT
Cornell University
Dartmouth College
Brown University
Rice University
Johns Hopkins University
New York University
Boston College
Ohio State University
Rutgers State University of New Jersey

Please let me know if I have a chance at Stanford Single Choice EA along with my chances for these colleges.

Your Scores are good, but your GPA is suboptimal mainly due to the freshman year. Your EC is very weak though. Do you have any awards in National or state level? Any community services? You may still give it a try.

I really can’t see you getting in unless you are URM. There are many applicants to Stanford who have great grades and test scores and a variety of mediocre ECs. What makes you stand out? Getting mostly As and participating in a few clubs doesn’t do anything for you. Remember, Stanford only accepts ~5% of its applicants. Unless you have major awards you didn’t list, or pull off some stellar recommendations AND essays, frankly you don’t have a good shot by any means.

Darn, your stats seem better than mines in most cases. I guess the essays and recommendations are our last chances. Good luck in your application! I also plan on applying early action to Stanford.

gangnam boy,
There is absolutely nothing wrong with your stellar stats and your EC’s. I don’t understand ezvcpg’s comments. Does he/she want to discourage you from applying for other reasons, or is he/she just being sarcastic?
The only thing is the C in your freshman year, admissions people don’t like seeing C’s. BUT, that was a long time ago, and you absolutely showed tremendous improvement which should make up for it.
Since your academic record is excellent (compare it to Stanford’s freshman profile and you’ll see), now the most important part is your essays. My advice would be: be honest, modest, and enthusiastic. When you re-read your essays, ask yourself: would I like to be in the same class as the person who wrote this essay?
Just my two cents. Good luck.

I understand that Stanford is an amazing school. I guess I might be reaching too high. Anyway, any chances at other schools? (All regular decision). Or is there another school that I might get into if I apply early? Oh btw, I want to do Pre-Med.

Did you take PSAT in both Sophomore and Junior year? You know only the Junior PSAT counts for National Merit. So it does not matter at all if you took it in sophomore year. You should be a semi finalist if that score is from Junior year, but finalist would depends on your grades. I am not sure if the C in Freshman year would do anything, but definitely you should avoid any C in senior year or you may not be a finalist.
