<p>Hello, I'm a rising senior at a public high school outside State College in rural central Pennsylvania. If you could give me your thoughts on what my chances at Stanford would be, I'd really appreciate it. </p>

<p>Other relevant information:
I plan on majoring in electrical engineering.
I have no legacy or minority status (as I am a white male), so I wont get any advantage from that.
This past summer I did electrical engineering related research at Penn State with my brother, who is a grad student there.</p>
<p>I will be applying to Stanford regular decision. (I'm applying early to Caltech.) I know applying early could boost my chances a lot, but after visiting and reading about both, though I liked Stanford a lot, I decided that Caltech was more the type of school I was looking for. </p>
