<p>Hey, was wondering what my chances were for Stanford? Note the GPA for 10-12, please.</p>
<p>GPA: 3.75 W 3.7 UW (****ty weighing system) 9-12
4.0 W 3.9 UW 10-12 (strong upward trend)
most rigorous courses available in my HS</p>
<p>ACT: 34
SAT II: 800 Math IIC, 750 Bio (M), 740 Literature</p>
<p>ECs:
Debate/Speech
Volunteer for the democratic candidate on the ticket for my state
Volunteer for the democratic party
Community Service Club
Internship at the Attorney General's Office - Identity Theft (I tell people what to do and help them restore their identities)
Medical Club (classes and a club gearing students toward medicine)
JSA participant at Georgetown University Advanced Session
Stanford Debate Camp - Advanced Debate lab</p>
<p>Recommendations: Both good
Essays: Very good (not to be egotistical)</p>
<p>"Identity Theft (I tell people what to do and help them restore their identities)"</p>
<p>Is that not illegal?...Or are you merely overstating your responsibilities?</p>
<p>Your scores are good. Your grades are also good. What kind of curriculum did you take? Did it involve as many AP and Honors courses as you could take? Stanford only looks at 10-12 so you're good there.</p>
<p>However, you should know that regardless, admission is difficult for anyone. It's really just a crapshoot as everyone who applies has good grades and scores and ECs. The essays help them weed out a lot, I believe.</p>
<p>It's a reach, but it's a reach for anyone.</p>
<p>??
People lose their identities from scams, personal theft, etc.
I'm not exaggerating anything...
The Attorney General's Office handles all types of ID theft.</p>
<p>I cant tell from this..but Ill give you 25%+</p>
