Hi, i am really interested in Gallatin and Steinhardt, but the applied psychology program in Steinhardt has caught my attention. I was wondering if i can get in with these stats:

GPA unweighted: 3.4
-My school doesn't weigh, but it's the top 30 public school. I have taken 4 advanced classes total. I've also taken 4 years of spanish, math, history, etc.

SAT: 1600! BUT i'm predicting somewhere 1800+ since i've been taking SAT classes and my practice scores have improved drastically.

ACT: 28, but i will be aiming for a 30.

Extracurriculars:
-200+ hours community service
-Part-time job at local ecology department
-Leader of FBLA only during my sophomore year
-3 years of cross country

Awards: I got a national recognition for Biology.

I've finished my essays and my teacher who attended Columbia and NYU said they were unique and great. I also have a awesome recomendation from him.

I was thinking about applying ED, but im kind of scared because if i do get accpeted, it's binding, but i heard that if you seriosuly can't pay the tuition, you can turn the acceptance down. So, what do you think? Worth giving a shot?
