Hi Futuredoctor31,
I’m also a high school senior applying to temple University this year so I can’t give you the best advice but I could give you pretty good advice from the research I have done. Your GPA is high which is considered to be really important. Do you take AP and Honors classes? To determine if your rigor is good, you need to provide more information. Your SAT is in fact in the lower 25th percentile of admitted students at Temple. If you can, try retaking the SATs. Your Class Rank is weak even if you are in a top school. Just because you go to a top school does not mean you can slack off or not be the best. Temple might be a reach for you.

Please consider joining the Temple University Class of 2017 page if you are a potential student, accepted student, or parent of a child interested in Temple University for useful information to incoming freshman and the chance to meet your classmates ahead of time

Thanks, and btw I believe your chances of admission to Temple are very strong. Your SAT scores are low but they are only slightly below what Temple looks for. Also, your list of extracurriculars helps to make up for your performance on the test. I wish you the best in your application to Temple.
