<p>Hey CC, with 2-3 weeks left until decisions come out, I've been getting increasingly worried. So, just to (hopefully) calm me down a bit, can someone chance me please?</p>

<p>Stats:
White Male, Philadelphia, Private Quaker School
SAT: 2030 (660 CR, 680 M, 690 W)
GPA: None, but all As and Bs, strong upward trend (only 2 Bs Junior and Senior year combined, the rest were As)
Curriculum: Hardest my school offers
Essays: Can't judge my own, but my college counselor said that they were all good.
Recs: Didn't read them, but I imagine they were pretty good.
Visits: 2
Interview: Yes
ECs:
3 Years Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
4 Years Wrestling
4 Years Babysitting
1 Year Lacrosse Manager</p>

<p>I'm mostly worried about my ECs. I know there aren't that many, but my ECs take up a lot of my time and I've been doing them for many years. I also heard that GW has an especially tough RD this year because about 40% of the incoming class was accepted EDI and EDII. GW is my first choice, and I would really like to know my chances. Thanks a lot!</p>

<p>You should be all set with solid SAT scores and what looks like a strong GPA…I applied Regular Decision too, so good luck!</p>

<p>I agree that your EC’s are a bit lackluster, but Jiu Jitsu is interesting and good essays/recs will set you apart. Your SAT is very good. I don’t think it’s guaranteed, but I definitely think you’re a solid candidate. Good luck!</p>

<p>I don’t want to give you false hope, so I’m going to predict that you don’t get in. This isn’t to say that you couldn’t because it is very possible. Best of luck.</p>

<p>It looks like you’ve got a pretty good shot at GW, but it’s not for sure. I’ll estimate around 60-65%. Good luck!
