<p>SAT: 2030 (I will be taking it again in Nov. and hope to get at least a 600 in math, so hopefully, will pull up my score to 2100+)
Math: 520
Reading: 710
Writing: 800</p>

<p>SAT II's: I'm taking them in November, but GW doesn't require them.</p>

<p>Honors: English (9), English (11), Philosophy (12), Creative Writing (12)</p>

<p>APs: Art History (11), U.S. History (11), U.S. Government (12), English (12), European History (12)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: School Newspaper (Section Editor, 10, 11, 12), School Literary Publication (12), School Political Publication (12), School "Comic" Publication (Editor-in-Chief, 12), Community Service Board (11), Community Service trip to Ecuador (10), Model UN (12), Volunteered at my local library (I have at least 50+ hours here), Frisbee Club Sport (10,11), Student Playwright (Play was performed by my school's drama department, 11), National Spanish Exam--Bronze Award (11)</p>

<p>I have good recommendations, and I am confident that I will write a good supplemental essay.
This is my number 1 choice. I realize my GPA is pitiful, so I'm applying early decision, as well.
I'm applying to the Eliott school, by the way.</p>

<p>try taking the ACT- the math and reading are much easier. with a high ACT and maybe ED/EA, you probably would still have a pretty good chance, despite your low GPA. good luck!</p>

<p>Thanks for the response.
I considered taking the ACT, but then realized that it would be better to invest my now limited time in the SAT, as I’ve already put a lot into studying for it.</p>

<p>Your math sat is low but the others are high and your EC’s are good, you probably have a good chance.</p>
