<p>UCs really care about scores/gpa and unless you have a truly amazing personal statement, the mid/top tier UCs will be difficult to get into. Your major is competitive, so best of luck to you</p>

<p>I agree with the above poster that UC’s are very GPA focused, so anything lower than a UC GPA of 4.0+ is a reach. Your SAT is also on the low side of being competitive especially for a Biology major.</p>
