I'm a freshman college student looking to transfer in as a sophomore. I will be applying to these schools as a business or economics major. USC, UofArizona, Boston College, Cornell, and Northwestern.
I have a 4.0 with 26 credits completed and another 15 in progress. Major classes I have done or in progress are Calculus, Microecon Honors, Intro to Business, Business Law, and Macroecon. Since the summer I have been working as an assistant manager thirty to forty hours per week. I have so far only completed my USC and UofArizona application. Are there any other schools I should consider? I really want to transfer in as a sophomore and not stay at a community college another year. Thanks for any input.

Well, the top ranked business programs are Wharton (UPenn), NYU, Michigan, Univ of Calif at Berkeley, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, MIT, Indiana, Illinois, USC, Cornell, Boston College, Notre Dame and Georgetown. The top ranked economics programs are at Univ of Chicago, Stanford, Duke, Northwestern, Harvard, Yale, and Rice.

Any of these are possibilities.

Well, we would need to know your criteria for selecting a school ( size, location preferences, atmosphere preferences...) and financial considerations, before we could really make any suggestions.

Best of luck.

im open to anywhere location wise. im looking for a real active school that has a lot of school spirit eg usc ut type of atomsphere. what do you think my chances are at usc? do you think my full time employment makes up for the lack of ec. i've seen other posters have various ec so it worries me now. thanks for any comments.
