Havent Taken SAT II's yet
GPA: 3.8 Unweighted, school doesnt do weighted, its a technical highschool
Class Rank: 10 of 200ish

EC's: Private Guitar lessons - 4 yrs, Martial Arts - 3 yrs, Robotics - 1 yr, Alittle bit of community service and stuff

Im interested in the following schools:
Tufts, NYU, Boston U., Bard, Sarah Lawerence, Skidmore, Clark, Uconn, Northeastern, Penn State Park, and Southern Conn. State U.

Do I have any realistic chance at those or what?

I say Tufts might be a reach for you but if you increase your SAT score to 1200 then you have a good shot there. you will probably get in everywhere else

Your EC's are a little fluffy, and you need your SAT up to at least 1250 (AT LEAST) for a decent shot at NYU and BU, schools that have like 1300-ish averages (correct me if I'm wrong). I don't know enough about the others to make a judgment, but getting the SAT up will only help. Your rank and GPA are fine.

You have a good chance just so long as you bring your SAT score up to at least 1200 and you're not Asian. Also, essays are huge factors for NYU, which is the school you're most likely to get rejected from if you do get turned down.

Yes. It is. I've met a slew of Koreans who academically own everyone else and got rejected from UCLA and had to go to UCI. The most intelligent and innovative guy I met in high school was white and he was rejected by all the UCs, having to stoop to a Community College.

Anyway, I think llamakid has a great chance. That's a pimp screen name, I would be surprised if he didn't get in with a screen name like that. I wish I was llamakid.

Tufts-ED/RD-no
NYU-ED-probably not, RD-no
Boston U.-ED-maybe. RD-most likely not
Bard-ED-maybe, prob. not RD-no
