I am very nervous as my stats are not up to par with many friends I know. Can you chance me for these schools? Thanks! and i will chance back.

I think you have a very good shot at the first three even with your “low” GPA. You are definitely qualified for the state schools but as you probably know they are hard to get into OOS still you’re competitive for them and I think you’d get into at least one. Tufts I think you can get in you’re qualified make sure you work hard on those supplements those could tip the scale if they’re really good as you are a competitive applicant. Cornell you’re competitive if your score and gpa go up then even more so. I don’t think you’ll get in but that’s not a knock on you that’s just the reality of how hard it is to get into an ivy. Best of luck and keep up the good work!

Unweighted GPA looks good. Weighted is also good, but 4.3 or above would give you a better shot at UNC, Cornell, and U of Virginia. I think you have a great chance at NE and Boston College. Class rank is also very good.

SAT is good, but 2250+ would be ideal. Don’t worry about PSAT, it doesn’t count for much other than the National Merit scholarship, which is certainly a nice thing to have on your app, but by no means necessary. A considerable amount of studying should yield you good results on the March SAT. Good luck!

On what planet are your stats bad? That is just ridiculous. I think you have a decent shot at all your schools. Try to work on those ECs in terms of how you present yourself. The list like a hodge podge and I get no sense about who you are or what your interests are. So consider how to think about yourself and your strengths-try to cluster so that you hang together in terms of what your strengths are. Also you list various things you did as a volunteer-how do they hang together -what drew you to those. For instance a student interested in computer science might cluster together experiences such as "taught elders how to use social media and other computer programs, raised money so a low SES school could purchase i-pads for their students, etc. In other words, try to group your experiences into themes that help define you.

Thank you @lostaccount ! I am interested in business, do you recommend any ECs I should pursue and how I can present myself?

Boston University and Northeastern are definitely your best bets, but the others are still certainly within your reach. Your extracurriculars can definitely make up for where your scores lack.
