Chances At Top Business Schools

Hello, i would like to know my chances of being accepted to the business schools of Upenn, Cornell, Columbia, and NYU.

I went to the University of Maryland College Park.

freshman year gpa= 2.8 (had a hard time adjusting to college)
sophmore year gpa= 4.0
junior year gpa= 3.9
senior year gpa= 4.0
Overall gpa= 3.7

GMAT= 750

Summer internships at Citibank
Became supervisor at Best Buy at age 19
Also, i should have great recommendations and great essays.

If you have good work experience and stuff I think you would be fine. Wharton's average is like something like a 3.5 and 714. Just like rock the interview and essays...good luck:)

Just curious, how much time have you taken off between undergrad and applying to business schools?

actually, the most important thing is your post bachelor's work experience, did you graduate recently and are thinking of applying now? or do you mean after a few years of working experience?

assuming good work experience, you have a good shot at all those schools.

my big concerns are my freshman year gpa, that i came from a state school, and that my 3.7 was from umd. can anyone address these?

I give you a 1% chance

you need work experience, not just a summer internship, more like 2 years

Your GMAT is excellent, your GPA is excellent. Don't worry so much about your freshman GPA. You can write about that in your essays. Your undergrad school is fine, don't sweat it. But if you don't have full time work experience after graduation or some compelling story, then your chances are probably in the single digits.

yes, i forgot to say that i have been working with citibank also for the past four years. They gave me the job after seeing how well i worked during the internships.

Well then you have a good chance assuming everything else is good
