Vanderbilt (scholarship?)-high match. BIG merit scholarship
Johns Hopkins-match
Harvard-reach
UF-in
USF (7 yr med)-??
UMiami (7 yr med)-see vandy

thanks! i sure hope you are right

any more opinions?

Admission to Duke is tougher than it is for Vanderbilt. That said, both schools are low-reaches for you. One of them will probably accept you, although token89's prediction for BIG MERIT AID from Vandy seems far-fetched.

thanks. slightly less enthusiastic ha. any suggestions for other colleges?

The only schools I'd be worried about getting into would be Harvard and Duke. I'm not sure if you'll get scholarship from Vandy, because I don't know how they decide scholarship money there. Harvard is a reach while Duke is a low reach to high match. Your test scores coupled with val make you an extremely competitive candidate. You have leadership in some of your ECs and you go to a competitve school where you are val. I personally think you have a really great shot at top schools. I'd advise you to add some more schools in there if you are hellbent on attending a top college. Also, you aren't Asian, so your stats are even more impressive within your demographic (white female from Florida)

Some schools you should apply to: Princeton (attainable reach), MIT (low reach high match because you're a girl), Stanford (attainable reach), Rice (match), Cornell engineering (match), and UPenn (high match)

thanks. the big problem is i won't be able to attend Vandy w/o a scholarship. duke i might suffer for... UF is free so unfortunately i might end up there.

and i would chance you but i honestly have no clue how this college admissions process works...

ha i'm really bored. post please :]

ummmmmmmmmmm

I think you're in at Duke but don't have the ECs for Harvard.

thank you. harvard is pretty much on there for "kicks and giggles".
