Chances at Top Colleges?

I am a senior in high school in a very competitive county(Fairfield County), I had a 3.12 freshman year but 4.0's sophomore and junior year. I play lacrosse, am a concert pianist, an a national merit semifinalist. I scored a 35 on the ACT and a 2310 on the SAT. I also started a club at my school that helps kids study for their AP tests. Will screwing up freshman year impact my chances at schools like Ivies or schools like Georgetown or Notre Dame?

If you have a good reason for the low GPA, then perhaps not much.

I think some schools don’t even look at freshman year.

Good to know. I’m thinking of applying to Notre Dame, UPenn, Georgetown, and Northwestern. Is it worth it?

Senior Year Course Load was AP English Lit., AP Microeconomics, AP Physics, Multivariable Calculus and AP French Literature
