chances at top private universities? ivys?

I am going to be a senior.
34 on act
14 APs by end of senior yr
3.97 unweighted
should have 6.95 weighted by the end of senior yr
captain of two sports teams
plays 3 sports
4 yrs of music
150+ hrs of community service
5 honor societies
VERY INVOLVED
co founder of school club

I'm afraid not being a national merit scholar will hurt my chances. Any ideas on what i should expect at schools like Duke or an Ivy?

we add .08 a semester to gpa for an AP to the regular 4.0 scale. this is what all schools do in at least the region i am from.

Okay, I’m very confused by your weighted GPA, but I think you are a good candidate academically. However, your ECs are very average, there’s no passion or true interest that I can tell from your brief post, so I would say Duke is a maybe, but Ivies are unlikely.

My community service and school club i cofounded is centered around a disease I was diagnosed with a few years back. Is that the right kind of passion?

No, that’s the worst kind of passion. You have no chance anywhere ever.

I’m joking. Stop worrying okay? You’re just as qualified as any qualified person. Although “VERY INVOLVED” is a little ambiguous, and you were way unspecific with your ECs, I can say that acedmically you’re fine.
