Chances at Top Schools?

Hey! I just recently finished my junior year of high school and I’m definitely planning on applying to Purdue, Stanford, VT, and UVA this coming school year. The classes I am signed up to take are: AP Calc AB, AP Physics 1, AP Comparative Gov., AP Gov., AP English. My current GPA weighted is a 4.01 and my ACT Score is a 36. (I’m planning on majoring in aerospace engineering, but I am also very passionate about political science and environmental science so I want those to be my minors:))

My extracurriculars are:

– President of Leo Club
– NHS
– SCA
– Equity and Diversity club (very involved)
– Rocket club at elementary school
– Lifeguard
– Swim coach
– Swim team (3 separate teams since 2007)
– Soccer (never played and got onto varsity)
– Lacrosse Club (started it)
– Created study blog
– Self-Taught Physics
– Self-Taught Russian
– Girl Scout since 2007
– NASA Internship
– Mock Government summer program (got accepted into it)
– Weekly tutoring
– Summer gov school for agriculture (free room and board at a university for 1 month)
– Aerospace engineering class (which led to my internship and helped me fall in love with engineering)

For each of these schools, what would my chances be? Thanks so much!

I would consider working to raise that act score. It just doesn’t cut it for top schools.

No, but really, you are in really good shape for all those schools listed. Your stanford chances are obviously very low, but you are definitely qualified.

Awesome! Thank you for the feedback lol

Something to push you over the edge for stanford would be good, like an exceptional essay. Stanford would be a reach, but UVA is definitely solid, in my opinion. Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1898624-chances-for-top-colleges.html#latest

What is your unweighted GPA? That’s what colleges look at. Also, make sure you have good teacher recs.

my unweighted gpa is a 3.74 lmao this is so late I apologize @DeeperBlue25
